Purchase Local Arizona (PLAZ)

Purchase Local Arizona is a local food purchasing program administered by Pinnacle Prevention and the Arizona Department of Economic Security. The Goals of PLAZ are:​​

1. to support Arizona farmers, ranchers, and food producers; prioritizing those from socially disadvantaged groups; and
2. to distribute fresh nutritious foods to underserved communities across Arizona.

Forestdale Farm uses PLAZ to distribute food to underserved communities around Flagstaff weekly.

Friends of the Farm (FoF)

Friends of the Farm is an Arizona Food Bank Network farm-to-food bank program that helps Arizona’s small growers while also helping Arizona’s food-insecure families. Forestdale Farm collaborates with the Flagstaff Family Food Center to provide fresh produce and eggs to the community weekly.
